6 Steps To Organize A Ladies Kitty Party

Ladies Kitty Party
A once-in-a-month ladies kitty party is a great way to take a small break from your mundane activities and indulge into some exciting and creative stuffs that serve as great recreation! Hosting a kitty party, inviting friends, playing games, making dishes are nothing but a momentary change that re-energizes your mind.

However, if you are new to the kitty world you may need a few simple tips on organizing a kitty party, especially when you are hosting for the first time. Without confusing you much, I will simply split up the basic aspects of a kitty party so that you can proceed accordingly and end up hosting a successful party. Excited?! Me too! So let’s get started!

6 Simple Steps To Organize A Ladies Kitty Party

1. Set Your Budget

Before you plan any other thing, it is best to first set your budget so that you can keep a control on your expenses without hurting the mood of the party. If you have enough free time and you love to cook, you can always choose your home as the venue - that will save you a lot of money which you will have to spend if you choose a hotel. However, if budget is not a big concern, you can look for best deals in any reputed restaurant in the city and choose a suitable one as the venue.

2. Choose A Theme

Theme-based kitty parties are becoming increasingly popular these days. You can choose from some of the best themes like Mughal Theme, Safari Theme, Childhood Theme, Retro Theme, etc. Now based on your theme you will have to plan out the rest of the things.

3. Invitation Cards

Nothing to worry about! All you need is to think of materials that are relevant to the theme you have chosen. For example: if it’s a Childhood Theme, you can make your own invitation cards using colorful papers and accessorize it with stuffs (pictures) like pencil, ribbon, glitters and shimmers, dolls, etc. For Mughal Theme, you can choose pictures of anarkali salwar-suits, lanterns and candles. The same thing applies for whatever theme you choose.

4. Dress Code

Again the same logic, i.e., your dress-code should be relevant to the theme of the party. For example: anarkali dresses for Mughal Theme, polka dotted skirts tops and funky hairstyles for Retro Theme, etc. It is better to send the invites at least a week ago so that your kitty guests also get some time to prepare for the theme-based party.

5. Room Decor

The room decor should also go perfectly with the theme. You can either decorate the venue yourself or hire an interior decorator depending on how much your budget allows you. For self decoration, you can take out all your luxurious furnishings and colorful ornaments including chiffon sarees (go well with Mughal theme), decorating accessories and crockeries. These things often stay unused at some silent corner of our cupboards and kitty parties are just the perfect occasion to flaunt those expensive room decor stuffs that you might had bought during one of your foreign trips or the annual trade fairs in the city.

6. Kitty Party Food

Kitty party recipes are always an attraction. You don’t have to try something new every time - giving a small twist to a simple snack recipe can go a long way in earning you acknowledgements. All your friends would like to see is your culinary skills which you can easily show off even through a simple recipe. And once again, remember the theme! If it’s a Mughal theme party, you can think of some biryanis and raitas and for Childhood theme, you can go for colorful sandwiches, muffins, pastries and cookies. It is more about the fun and not the menu - so need to go too elaborate.

Conclusion

A simple trick to organizing a successful kitty party is to go creative. No need to overboard with anything; you can always play with your creative thinking ability and come up with new innovative ideas to amaze your guests. And yes! Remember to include some exciting games to your party for some real fun!
